(More customer reviews)Despite this is still a Dolce & Gabbana...a DOLCE & GABBANA, the retail price versus the overall look of the watch would've convinced me otherwise.Looking at its outer aesthetics, it looks cheap and much like a toy watch to be had for less than $20.Its inner workings, however is supposed to be of high quality and should carry very few problems with the function of the watch.Then again, any Casio should equal or surpass this watch's functionality.
I think it would've been a finer looking watch if the chrome accents were a bit more polished, including the face's chrome accents, and the Corian case should be just as glinty, not to mention, and I stress this the most, that the crystal should've been of greater clarity and quality to truly make the overall look of the watch just as expensive looking for its 349 dollar retail pricetag.
I think the red model looks best for someone who has paler skin since this red is more blue-red more than an orange-red which would suit someone with dark-olive skin like I do.Quite possible that I should've opted for the yellow model to suit me.
I should mention that the most complimented watch that I've ever owned was a Bosie ceramic chronograph watch from Hong Kong.Costed twice as much, but it was white, noticeable, but people gasped with envy and want for the Bosie I had on my wrist.Trust me, ceramic watches go for 4 or 5 times that much, so consider Bosie as a good economical watch that'll surely impress without killing you, e.g. Chanel J12 or Rado Jubilee.
If you like ceramic watches just as much as I do, also consider the Oniss ceramic watches.People definitely thought I spend an easy 1K for the black ceramic chronograph watch I wore when I was at Neiman's. :)
D&G watches like this carry itself purely for its name and notoriety for pure whimsy in the sense that one can afford that much for a plastic watch.Go for the metallic models if you want more respect, in my opinion. But if you're willing to overlook this, and if anyone has any knowhow about the brand, they'll be truly impressed nonetheless...your choice!
