(More customer reviews)I bought this watch to finish out a larger collection and it had to meet the following criteria:1) A traditionally styled watch with quartz movement (I have automatics that I enjoy but prefer quartz); 2) A gold or platinum tone case; 3) A case not more than 44m in diameter (note that Amazon incorrectly states the case size as 48m); 5) A brown leather band; and 5) A watch that sells for under $300.Predictably,very few watches on the market meet all of these criteria.The Triumph is tagged as being a $695 retail timepiece, but give me a break.Even with a good quality swiss movement, that would be a stretch.With its decent Japanese movement and standard mineral crystal, the Triumph is maybe a $250 watch with the added bonus of having an attractive chronograph, plus a date field cut nicely into the 4 O'clock position. This watch measures up quite well considering the price:A casual sport "dress" watch with gold accents that does not scream out for too much attention.I would have given it 5 stars, but I have a minor complaint.The leather strap, though apparently well made and certainly good looking, is stiff and difficult to latch.Assuming daily wear over a period of many months, it should eventually be "broken in," but this is one stiff band.Since I only wear mine occasionally, it's not a major concern. You might be tempted to shop around for an alternate strap if you get this timepiece and find the fit annoying.While I haven't worn the Triumph more than a few times over the past 6 mths, it seems to be running accurately and reliably.Good luck.
