(More customer reviews)bought this model off ebay new for $120.00.Has same movement as the more expensive watches (ie; sna587,sna481) that go for $220-300.Leather band is very thick, which I like. Seiko logo/hr markers are applied, not printed,Subdials are ever so slighted recessed (not printed) these give the face a nice, more expensive look.Luminite (glow material) works well initially, fads abit after several hrs in darkness, but that's typical in my experience. I like that everything on it is useful (ie: date, alarm, timer) and there's not extra fluff you'd never use(tachy for instance).The bezel does not move, but with a timer (chrono) function it would be redundant if it did. However, it still gives the watch a nice sporty appearance. I'm very pleased with the watch, for the money it's a great value.My submariner Sandoz (automatic) doesn't have an alarm and my poljot aviator (winding) doesn't have a date (great watches as well), but I wanted something that had both date/alarm with a battery to add to my little collection of unique watches.

Its stark black dial stands out in the 44-millimeter stainless steel case and bezel, and the 22-millimeter black leather band with white stitching and buckle closing is just as stunning. Silver-tone stick indexes mark the hours, and Luminite silver-tone hour, minute, and seconds hands make the time easy to read even at night. Three silver-tone sub-dials are inset at six o'clock (alarm), nine o'clock (seconds timer), and 12 o'clock (minutes timer). A date calendar is positioned at three o'clock. A Hardlex dial window protects all of this functionality, and Arabic-numeral seconds/minutes markers stand out from the stationary bezel. This watch is powered by analog quartz and it is water resistant to 330 feet.
