Tissot quartz watches also make an audible ticking sound that you can hear if you listen carefully, some like that and some don't. My only complaint with this watch is that the band does not use standard watch band pins, and most jewelers do not have the punches required to remove links from the band. So unless you happen to have the requisite tool on hand, good luck trying to find a place that can resize the band on this watch.
